who are we?

How we came about

Hello and welcome to The Green Insurance Company. My name is Andrew and I am responsible for setting up this new company.
I don’t hug trees or at least I don’t admit to it.
I am not an environmental expert nor am I an eco-warrior, I am just a person who is interested in helping stop climate change.

Beginnings

I worked with Kwik-Fit Insurance (www.kfis.co.uk) for over 12 years and felt that there was an opportunity to offer car insurance that was friendlier to the environment. I managed to persuade them to invest the money (in fact quite a lot of money) that was needed to create The Green Insurance Company.

Some sceptics out there may be wondering about the Kwik-Fit connection. I am certainly not ashamed of it, as without their funding, I would never have been able to launch this new company. What it has allowed, is a small company to do its own thing with the reassurance that a larger company brings.

Better for the environment

As a result, my dream has become a reality and you can now benefit from quality car insurance that is both competitively priced and better for the environment. On top of that, my pledge is to deliver you with fantastic customer service, as you need to insure with someone you can rely on.
