What we offer

The Green Insurance Company offers a fantastic package that is much more than just a basic salary. We haven’t even listed all the benefits below, so expect to find out even more when you apply.

Salary and bonus

Salaries start from £16,000 for full-time positions. We offer many opportunities for promotion, and if you've got the drive and determination you could soon be earning a base salary of £21,500, as an elite consultant. Also, we want to reward your loyalty, so for every year you stay with TGIC we will increase your salary by 0.7% - on top of any other annual increase.

You will also have the opportunity to earn an uncapped bonus each month. Achievement of targets will earn an average of 10%, but with some of our top consultants earning as much as 50% on top of their monthly salary.

We also offer a special Christmas bonus, based on your quality over the year. Like Santa Claus, we give this out in December, just in time for your Christmas shopping!

Company Car

If you reach our Executive consultant level, which could be after as little as 6 months, you will have the opportunity to join our company car scheme and get a brand new eco-friendly car - free!

The car is fully insured, taxed and MOT'd - all you have to do is put petrol in the tank, and since our current car averages 70+ miles to the gallon, even that's not expensive.

Profit share

We want everyone to share in our company's success. That's why we run an annual profit share scheme, with a guaranteed minimum payment of £250 if we hit our targets. If we exceed our targets, 15% of this additional profit is shared amongst our people.

Pension

There is a contributory pension scheme that you can join after 6 months service. As your length of service grows, so does the company’s contribution.

Holidays

Here at TGIC our annual holiday entitlement is 20 days per annum plus 8 public days. Because our business is open 363 days a year though, we give you the flexibility to take these public holiday days whenever you like.

We also know that for some people there are never enough holidays each year, and that’s why we allow you to buy up to an additional 5 days.

Plus, to reward our long serving employees, we'll give you extra holidays if you've been with us for more than 5 years.

On-Site Subsidised Child Care

One of the most unique benefits we offer has to be our fantastic onsite subsidised Child Care & Early Education Centre – Little Fitters. Opened in 2005 our nursery now has more than 61 children in it’s care throughout the week, spread between the spacious 0-2’s and 3-5’s rooms and the after school programme.

The nursery is currently open from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday offering care for children from 0-12.

We currently subsidise our nursery by more than 30% and you may be able to save even more through schemes such as 'salary sacrifice' which our HR team can help advise you on.

On-site Gym, Massage & Beauty Service

To help you stay fit and healthy we offer all our people a fully equipped on-site gym and a full-time fitness instructor. Purpose built for the needs of our staff, we offer the range of equipment you would normally expect from a gym, including cross-trainer, exercise bikes and free weights.

Digital TV and a tape deck are on hand to help you get into full-swing and full changing and showering facilities are available. Our fully qualified fitness instructor can plan a workout programme to suit you, whether you're training for an event, trying to lose weight, or just getting into better shape. The gym is open 7 days a week and is available to family and friends of gym members for a small additional fee.

As part of our 'Healthy Living Club' we also offer a monthly programme of massage and relaxation therapies, beauty treatments and fitness clubs, including our latest offering - kick-boxing! With a different treatment on offer every day of the week, right here in the building, it means that making the time to relax and unwind is easy!
